The recent amendment to HB 925 updates several sections of Virginia's towing laws, specifically regarding the towing of unlicensed and uninspected vehicles and trailers. The changes clarify the conditions under which unlicensed trailers or semitrailers used on construction sites can be towed, including new requirements for safety features and permissible weight limits. This matters because it helps ensure that towing practices are safer and more regulated, particularly for trailers that may not meet standard inspection requirements.
