Plain-language change summary

The changes to the bill SB 354 include a new section that prohibits local governments in Virginia from creating or enforcing mandatory disclosure requirements for real estate transactions. This means that homeowners and real estate agents will not be obligated to provide certain notifications to potential buyers, which could simplify the selling process. This change matters because it could reduce the regulatory burden on real estate transactions, potentially making it easier and faster for homeowners to sell their properties.
