The recent amendment to SB 85 updates the definition of "all-virtual public meeting" to clarify that such meetings can be held with participants remotely rather than requiring all members to be together in one physical location. Additionally, the bill officially defines "caregiver" as someone who provides care for a person with a disability, emphasizing that they can be related or a legally appointed guardian. These changes are significant because they enhance accessibility for persons with disabilities and their caregivers, enabling better participation in public meetings.
