Plain-language change summary

The updated version of SB 447 broadens eligibility for a tax credit on lifetime hunting and fishing licenses to include all honorably discharged veterans, rather than just those with a service-related disability rated at 50% or more. Additionally, the new language clarifies the definition of an "eligible veteran" to encompass anyone with an honorable discharge from any branch of the military. This change matters because it allows more veterans to take advantage of this benefit, promoting outdoor activities and enhancing support for those who have served in the military.
