69 added · 71 removedPlain-language change summary
The amended version of SB 601 changes the focus on eligibility for participation in high school sports and extracurricular activities by allowing students receiving home instruction to join these events. It removes previous mentions of eligibility for various types of private and non-public school students. This change is significant because it opens up opportunities for homeschooled students to engage in public school activities, promoting inclusivity and potentially enhancing their social and athletic development.
