What changed in the latest version

The updated version of SB 1027 clarifies and expands the list of vehicles exempt from Virginia's safety inspection requirements. Notably, it includes new motor vehicles and trailers that are being delivered directly from the manufacturer to dealers, which was not explicitly stated before. This change is significant as it eases regulations for commercial vehicle operations, potentially streamlining delivery processes and reducing costs for businesses.
