The amendment removes a specific annual funding limit of $10,000 for assistive technology and electronic home-based support services for individuals receiving waiver services. Instead, it combines those services into a maximum annual amount to offer greater flexibility in how funds are allocated based on individual needs. This change allows for a more tailored approach to meeting the diverse needs of individuals with developmental disabilities, as it enables them to divide their home-based support services in a way that best suits their personal circumstances.
