Plain-language change summary

The amended bill alters the language regarding alcohol safety action programs. The update clarifies that individuals who are charged with certain offenses may enter an alcohol safety action program before their trial and that they can pre-qualify for installing an ignition interlock system. This change could help individuals seek early intervention and support options before a court decision is made.
