The amendment to § 22.1-289.030 clarifies the conditions under which certain child day programs are exempt from licensure. Specifically, it specifies that programs must not allow any child under the age of six to attend at all, and it removes a clause about attendance being limited to no more than 25 days within a three-month period. This alteration affects the eligibility criteria for exemption from licensing, thereby potentially broadening the types of programs that can operate without a license.
