Plain-language change summary

The amendment to SB 914 replaces the term "Board" with "Council" to refer to the Data Governance Council, and it removes references to the Executive Data Board. This change clarifies the structure of the data governance framework in Virginia and specifies the bodies involved in overseeing data management. The amendment also repeals a previous enactment from 2021 related to the Office of Data Governance and Analytics, which may streamline the governance process.
