The recent amendment to Bill HB 1622 clarifies the powers and responsibilities of Virginia's health regulatory boards by enhancing the wording around their authority to conduct examinations for certification and licensure. Specifically, it removes some redundant language and streamlines the process of evaluating applicants. This change matters because it aims to make the licensure process more efficient and clear, ultimately helping to ensure that qualified professionals can enter the field and serve the public effectively.
