The updated version of Bill SB 903 introduces several sections regarding the regulation of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and industrial hemp, expanding on the definitions and legal framework for these substances. Specifically, it adds new sections that define terms related to hemp and THC, as well as outlining compliance with both state and federal laws. These changes are significant because they clarify the legal status of hemp products and aim to simplify regulations for businesses in the hemp industry, potentially fostering growth and compliance.
