The amendment updates the definitions within the charitable gaming regulations in Virginia to include Texas Hold'em poker tournaments explicitly. It clarifies the types of gaming supplies allowed, particularly mentioning playing cards and poker chips used for such tournaments. This change matters because it formalizes the inclusion of Texas Hold'em in the legal framework for charitable gaming, which may impact how organizations conduct these events and the supplies they can use.
