The amendment to § 46.2-1213 of the Code of Virginia modifies the conditions under which localities can remove unattended or immobile vehicles. The term "illegally parked" was removed, and the text now focuses on vehicles left unattended for over ten days or immobilized due to emergencies. This change clarifies the criteria for vehicle removal, specifically emphasizing unattended vehicles rather than those parked in violation of regulations.
