Plain-language change summary

The amendment to SB 744 changes the Virginia Elections Commission's structure by reducing its membership from 15 to 13 members. It also specifies the allocation of membership among political parties and groups. This matters because it may affect the representation and balance of perspectives within the Commission, which is tasked with studying and recommending improvements related to election integrity, efficiency, and security in the Commonwealth.
