Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to Bill HB 239 expands an initiative aimed at providing housing and support services by now including adults aged 65 and older as a target group. This is important because it recognizes the specific needs of older adults who may face challenges with housing and healthcare accessibility. By involving stakeholders in developing strategies for this age group, the initiative aims to improve support and increase the availability of permanent housing options for seniors.
