Plain-language change summary

The revised version of SB 31 includes changes to the composition and appointment process of the Virginia Land Conservation Board of Trustees. Notably, specific language was altered to clarify that four citizen members can be from the House of Delegates, while the previous version referred only to "appointed by the Speaker." Additionally, terms for legislative members are now aligned with their terms of office, ensuring consistency in governance. These changes enhance clarity and may improve the Board's effectiveness in managing land conservation efforts in Virginia.
