The recent amendment to Bill SB 394 clarifies the definitions used in Virginia's charitable gaming laws, particularly regarding bingo and poker operations. Notably, it specifies what constitutes "charitable gaming supplies" and excludes certain incidental items like markers and tape. This change matters because it helps ensure that regulations around charitable gaming are more precise, which can lead to better compliance and clearer understanding for organizations that conduct these games.
