Plain-language change summary

The revised version of Senate Bill 5308 has clarified the definition of where athletic trainers can provide their services, now specifying that they can work in association with educational institutions or sports clubs but removing the reference to hospitals or industrial organizations. This change simplifies the context in which athletic trainers operate and emphasizes their role in sports and physical education settings. This matters because it helps focus resources and regulations on environments where athletic trainers are most likely to be needed, potentially improving athlete safety and care.
