Plain-language change summary

The amendment to SB 263 expands the existing Housing and Supportive Services Interagency Leadership Team (ILT) initiative to specifically include adults 65 years of age or older as a target subpopulation. This change replaces the broader term "older Virginians" with a specific age definition, which may help clarify eligibility and focus efforts on this demographic. The ILT will continue to seek stakeholder input to develop strategies for increasing the supply of permanent supportive housing for this group.
