The recent amendment to Bill SB 141 clarifies the rules regarding the use of boat ramps managed by the Department of Wildlife Resources in Virginia. It specifically states that users must pay established fees or hold valid permits, but it now explicitly states that the fee does not apply to certain individuals, like those under 16 or passengers in a vessel. This change aims to make access to these facilities more inclusive and ensure that young people and non-operators can enjoy boating without additional costs.
