What changed in the latest version
15 added · 18 removedPlain-language change summary
The amendment adds the phrase "to use telephone services, purchase items or services from stores or commissaries," to the bill, clarifying the specific types of costs and fees the work group will review for potential reduction or elimination. This clarity on the types of fees included ensures a focused assessment of inmate charges within state correctional facilities. Additionally, the removal of the original wording indicates a clean-up of the text rather than a change in the bill's intent.
