The recent amendments to Bill HB 1301 changed the frequency and scope of professional license reviews. Previously, the bill required a review of about 10 percent of licenses every 10 years, but it now mandates an annual review of approximately 20 percent within five years and every five years thereafter. This change is significant as it aims to enhance oversight and accountability in professional licensing, potentially improving the quality and effectiveness of licensed professionals.
