Plain-language change summary

The amendment to Bill SB 511 updates the registration requirements for pharmacy technicians in Virginia. It clarifies that individuals must complete a specific training program before they can register, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively. This change is important because it aims to improve the quality of medication dispensing and enhance patient safety in pharmacies. By requiring proper training, the bill seeks to reduce errors and ensure that pharmacy technicians are better prepared for their responsibilities.
