Plain-language change summary

The amendment to SB 57 clarifies the definitions related to the State and Local Government Conflict of Interests Act, specifically regarding the terms "Advisory agency" and "Affiliated business entity relationship." This change is important as it provides clearer guidelines on what constitutes a relationship between business entities, which can help prevent conflicts of interest among government officials and ensure transparency.
