The amended bill increases the total membership of the American Revolution 250 Commission from 22 to 27 members, changing the composition to include five legislative members, 17 nonlegislative citizen members, and five ex officio members. Additionally, the method of appointing legislative members has been modified to now include two members of the Senate and three members of the House of Delegates, instead of solely three members from the House. This change in membership structure could affect the representation and diversity of perspectives on the Commission.
