What changed in the latest version
23 added · 24 removedPlain-language change summary
The updated version of HB 2306 changes the language regarding tax credits, specifically clarifying the timing and conditions under which remaining credits can be claimed. The bill now specifies that credits can only be claimed in the year following their approval, and it removes references to multiple programs having individual credit limits, ensuring that the cap is more straightforward. This matters because it simplifies the process for individuals and businesses looking to utilize these tax credits, providing clearer rules that may encourage more participation in the program.
