Plain-language change summary

The amendment to Bill HB 1019 establishes a pesticide advisory board and defines its purpose more clearly. The changes specify that the board will advise on pesticide-related issues while excluding matters already addressed by a separate safety committee. This distinction matters because it clarifies the board's role, ensuring focused and effective oversight without overlaps in responsibilities, which can improve pesticide management and safety practices in agriculture.
