Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to SB 5911 changes the way funding is allocated to the Andy Hill cancer research endowment fund, now specifying that a portion of the funds will be dedicated each October and remitted in November, instead of a fixed amount. Additionally, the deadline for notifying the state treasurer has shifted from December 1 to December 31. These adjustments affect how quickly and efficiently funds are transferred to support cancer research, ensuring more timely financial support for this important work.
