The updated version of Senate Bill 6105 includes several key changes aimed at improving safety and support for entertainers in adult entertainment establishments. Notably, the bill now requires all employees, including entertainers, to complete safety training within 30 days of hiring and refresh it every two years. It also emphasizes the implementation of an accessible panic button in various locations, which entertainers can use in emergencies. These changes are significant because they aim to enhance workplace safety, reduce incidents of harassment, and provide better support in conflict situations, ultimately creating a safer environment for all workers.
