Plain-language change summary

The latest version of Bill HB 1779 has added a focus on studying carbon monoxide poisoning prevention beyond just residential sources and clarified that the Department of Health will lead the effort. It also specifies that the interagency work group will include members from the Department of Ecology instead of the Department of Health. These changes are important because they expand the scope of the study to include outdoor carbon monoxide risks, which could help improve public safety in Washington.
