SB 1744 — Taxes, Excise - As introduced, exempts entities that would otherwise have less than $100 in combined franchise and excise tax liability from franchise and excise taxes for tax years that begin between July 1, 2018 and July 1 2019; gradually increases the exemption threshold to $500 for tax years that begin on or after July 1, 2020. - Amends TCA Title 67, Chapter 4, Part 20 and Title 67, Chapter 4, Part 21.
