Plain-language change summary

The amendments to Bill SB 532 primarily clarify the requirements for obtaining a special registration plate for military members and disabled individuals. Specifically, they ensure that active duty applicants must include approval from their unit commander and eliminate any service fees for the special plates. This matters because it simplifies the application process for veterans and makes it more accessible for those who have served in the military, supporting their recognition and rights on the road.
