EMR S01576'25 (S-1)(S-1)_SB483_APS_1 x5ktrv7o2u8t 1 (b) Five individuals who are palliative care clinical experts, including, but not limited to, physicians, registered nurses, and nurse practitioners.
(c) TwoFour individualsindividuals, whoeach representof leaderswhom is selected from a list of 3 or administratorsmore innominees providingsubmitted palliativeby care.each of the following:
(d)the Twosenate individualsmajority wholeader, representthe asenate patientminority receivingleader, palliativethe carespeaker orof familythe membershouse of arepresentatives, patientand receivingthe palliativeminority care.leader of the house of representatives.
(e)Each Anlist individualsubmitted under this subdivision must contain individuals who representsrepresent aleaders statewideor organizationadministrators thatin representsproviding healthpalliative insurancecare, companies.represent patients receiving palliative care or family members of patients receiving palliative care, or who are subject matter experts in palliative care.
(f)(d) An individual who represents thea Children'sstatewide Palliativeorganization Carethat Coalitionrepresents ofhealth Michigan.insurance companies.
(g)(e) An individual who represents the MichiganChildren's HealthPalliative andCare HospitalCoalition Association.of Michigan.
(h)(f) An individual who represents a nonprofit health care corporation operating pursuant to the nonprofitMichigan healthHealth careand corporationHospital reformAssociation. act, 1980 PA 350, MCL 550.1101 to 550.1704, or a nonprofit mutual disability insurer into which a nonprofit health care corporation has merged as provided in section 5805(1) of the insurance code of 1956, 1956 PA 218, MCL 500.5805.
(g) An individual who represents a nonprofit health care corporation operating pursuant to the nonprofit health care corporation reform act, 1980 PA 350, MCL 550.1101 to 550.1704, or a nonprofit mutual disability insurer into which a nonprofit health care corporation has merged as provided in section 5805(1) of the insurance code of 1956, 1956 PA 218, MCL 500.5805.
If a vacancy occurs on the palliative care EMR S01576'25 (S-1)_SB483_APS_1 7o2u8t 1 advisory task force, the governor, with the advice and consent of the senate, shall appoint an individual to fill the vacancy for the balance of the term.
(5) The governor may remove a member of the palliative care EMR S01576'25 (S-1) x5ktrv 1 advisory task force for incompetence, dereliction of duty, malfeasance, misfeasance, or nonfeasance in office, or any other good cause.
(8) The palliative care advisory task force shall conduct its business in compliance with the open meetings act, 1976 PA 267, MCL 15.261 to 15.275.15.275, and in accordance with any other applicable law of this state.
(10) A member of the palliative care advisory task force is not entitled to compensation for service on the palliative care EMR S01576'25 (S-1)_SB483_APS_1 7o2u8t 1 advisory task force but the department may reimburse a member for actual and necessary expenses incurred in serving.
(a) Provide the legislature with a recommended definition for EMR S01576'25 (S-1) x5ktrv 1 palliative care within this state.
