Plain-language change summary

The recent amendments to SB 99 streamlined the definitions used in the bill and removed references to certain sections. Notably, the requirement for a “financial disclosure form” has shifted, now aligning it with a previously defined section instead of creating a new one. These changes are important because they simplify the bill, potentially making it clearer and more efficient for public officers to report their financial details, which helps enhance transparency in government.
