Plain-language change summary

The amendments to SB 3 include the clarification of requirements for immunizations in children attending various educational programs. Specifically, it mandates that vaccination policies be based on recommendations from health authorities, including the Department of Health and relevant medical academies. Additionally, the bill prohibits health insurance plans from charging patients for these recommended vaccinations, making them more accessible to families. This change is important because it aims to improve immunization rates among children and adults, helping protect public health.
