The main change in Bill HB 192 is the addition of a requirement for the Department of Information Technology to submit an annual report starting December 1, 2026. This report will detail the subscriber fees and users of the digital trunked radio communications system. This matters because it increases transparency and allows for better oversight of the system’s finances, ensuring that stakeholders can see how fees are utilized each year.
