This bill died with 2025 Regular Session. It reached “Passed Senate” and never advanced before the session ended, so it can no longer move — a new version would have to be reintroduced in the current session.
This bill is no longer active — its legislative session has ended, so there is no live prognosis. It would have to be reintroduced in the current session to move again.

The recent amendment to Senate Bill 202 includes the removal of provisions that previously involved the Capital Development Program Fund and changes related to how funds from state agencies revert. Specifically, it eliminates a provision that would have moved the fund to the State Treasury and shortened the reversion time for funds. These changes simplify the bill and can potentially enhance the efficiency of public finance by focusing on standardizing the investment language without altering major fund structures or deadlines. This matters because it streamlines processes and reduces bureaucratic complexity in the management of public funds.
