Plain-language change summary

The recent amendments to HB 433 include new provisions that require the Higher Education Department to conduct a comprehensive study on the availability of career and technical education courses and instructors, focusing on their salaries and compensation packages. This study will be done in collaboration with other state departments and a legislative committee, and it will culminate in a report with recommendations. This change matters because it aims to address potential gaps in workforce training and ensure that instructors in these vital educational programs are fairly compensated, ultimately enhancing the quality of education and career readiness for students.
