Plain-language change summary

The bill SB 83 now includes the creation of an "Innovation in State Government Fund," which will support state agencies in developing master plans and enhancing their ability to address climate change. This fund will include various sources of money like donations and grants, and it will be managed by the Department of Finance and Administration. The main change is the establishment of this dedicated fund, which is important because it provides a structured way for state agencies to get the support they need to achieve goals related to net-zero emissions and sustainable economic policies.
