Plain-language change summary

The updated version of Senate Bill 85 includes a requirement for disclosures related to electronic communications in campaign finance. Additionally, the bill standardizes the supplemental reporting requirements for all elections concerning contributions or pledges of $1,000 or more. These changes are important because they enhance transparency in campaign finance, ensuring that large contributions are more easily tracked and reported, thus helping to inform voters and promote accountability among candidates.
