d r e 22 (1) "high-quality tutor" means a person c e s k 23 licensed or approved by the department to provide high-impact e a n b 24 tutoring and includes current or retired licensed school upersonnel [Sfl1º personnelor»Sfl1 orSfl1º,»Sfl1 a private tutoring provider;provider Sfl1º or a volunteer or charitable organization»Sfl1 ;
.231106.1 SEC/SB 434 (2) "mathematics deficiency" means a score in the bottom quartile on a statewide assessment for mathematics administered pursuant to the Assessment and Accountability Act;

Each student e t 17 identified as having a mathematics or reading deficiency shall w l n d 18 be provided with high-impact tutoring in accordance with = = 19 Subsection D of this section.
