What changed in the latest version
461 added · 362 removedPlain-language change summary
The updated version of House Bill 334 has removed a two-year limit on filing wildfire liability claims. This change is significant because it gives individuals and organizations more time to pursue legal action if they believe they have been harmed by wildfires related to rural electric cooperatives. By eliminating the time constraint, the bill may better support those affected by wildfires in seeking justice and compensation.
