6 WHEREAS, Hubert Henry Quintana, an individual who touched the lives of so many people in New Mexico with his distinguished service, will be remembered for his passion and dedication to southeastern New Mexico;

and WHEREAS, Hubert Henry Quintana was a native New Mexican, born in Las Cruces on March 7, 1948 to Ramon Quintana and Alfonsa Romero Quintana;

and WHEREAS, Hubert graduated from Palm Springs high school in Palm Springs, California, and attended college of the desert community college in Palm Desert, California, where he was student body president and played tennis and baseball;
