Plain-language change summary

The updated bill now includes a specific supplemental salary increase of one percent for state employees, higher education staff, and public school employees to help offset the impact of inflation, including rising insurance costs. This adjustment is important because it provides additional financial support to workers in these sectors, helping them cope with higher living expenses. The previous version of the bill had a broader focus but did not specify this targeted increase.
