Plain-language change summary

The updated version of HB 360 includes the addition of a special registration plate for supporters of the national FFA organization, which allows vehicle owners to showcase their support for agricultural education for a fee. The bill outlines a one-time application fee of $35 for the special plate, as well as an annual renewal fee of $25. Additionally, it simplifies the section related to the cessation of special plates without requiring an appropriation or new issuance guidelines, making it easier to manage these special plates in the future. This change is significant because it not only promotes agricultural education but also streamlines the registration process for specialty plates.
