The updated version of SB 89 has removed a line that previously included a provision for making an appropriation, which means there will no longer be allocated funds tied directly to this bill. This change may affect the implementation of the Supported Decision-Making Program, as funding can play a critical role in how effectively new initiatives are established and run. By excluding the funding element, the bill could simplify the legislative process, though it also raises questions about how the program will be supported financially moving forward.
