The updated version of HB 75 introduces specific limits on the out-of-pocket costs that individuals must pay for chiropractic services. It specifies that any copayment or coinsurance for chiropractic care cannot exceed that of primary care services, ensuring that accessing chiropractic treatment remains financially manageable for patients. This change is significant because it promotes equitable healthcare access, encouraging individuals to seek necessary chiropractic care without facing higher costs than they would for conventional primary care.
