Plain-language change summary

The updated version of Bill SB 351 now allows a member of the New Mexico Legislative Council to serve as a voting member on interim committees, which they could not do before. This change is important because it increases the participation of council members in important legislative discussions when the full legislature is not in session, potentially leading to more informed decision-making and better outcomes for the state's governance.
