Plain-language change summary

The amendment to SB 256 now prohibits the use of aversive therapy or conditioning in conversion therapy for all individuals, regardless of their age, rather than just those under eighteen. This change is significant because it expands the protection against harmful practices for everyone, emphasizing that no one should be subjected to these methods, which can be damaging and unethical. By including all age groups, the legislation aims to create a safer and more supportive environment for individuals regarding their sexual orientation and identity.
